New Experiences
getting personal for a moment
There are two areas of development in my life right now: the first is my work on CyberHedge, a stealth-mode privacy and security company, focused on self-reliance in personal finance and digital homesteading; the second is my re-engagement with the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes, with the goal of being sent to Panama to plant an Anglican congregation in Volcán.
Things are happening rapidly on both fronts. So rapidly that I'm having difficulty keeping up. At the same time, however, I'm selling bitcoin to pay the bills, and that is the opposite of what I want to be doing, so things can't develop fast enough!
I'm leading a men's bible study in Pensacola that is going remarkably well and is a regular source of encouragement...and I suffer attacks of doubt and discouragement about once every other week. Late afternoon and night are often bad times. The Lord's mercies prove new every morning.
I can say that this living by faith thing (as opposed to "knowing" you're getting a paycheck regularly, or what you're "supposed" to do every day) forces a constant sense of one's dependence on God for faithfulness in every hour of every day. That's new and tenuous ground, but it strikes me as probably pretty healthy.
Prayers for guidance, direction, provision, and effectiveness are greatly appreciated. I continue to have a keen sense of being on mission at God's behest, but my goodness am I a weak vessel!
Keep a lookout here for the announcement that CyberHedge has a website and a ready-for-primetime product. At the moment we’re selling a beta version of our product and support with good initial feedback and results.
